Blackberry Crisp

This just came out of the oven! Shh! Don't say anything, it's a surprise for my hubby. Blackberry Crisp, made with just five ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 16 oz container of fresh blackberries (washed)
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 stick of butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 350° degrees.

In an 8" x 8" baking pan, add the blackberries. Pour the 1/2 cup of water over the blackberries. In a mixing bowl combine the sugar and butter until well blended. Add the flour, and mix well until the mixture is a soft consistency. Sprinkle the mixture over the blackberries. Cook for 30 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned. Makes 6 servings.

Banana Pudding Parfait

4 bananas sliced
1 1/2 cups of raisins
1 1/2 cups of honey flavored cereal ( your choice)
1 4 oz pack of fat-free instant vanilla pudding
4 (8 - 10 oz) cups or bowls

Prepare pudding according to the package directions. While the pudding is cooling in the refrigerator, slice the bananas and set aside. Once the pudding has set, place approximately six slices of the bananas in each bowl, along with one tablespoon of raisins, one tablespoon of the cereal and two tablespoons of the vanilla pudding. Repeat this layer once more and then add bananas at the top with a sprinkle of the remaining raisins and cereal. Chill for approximately 1 hour or until the parfait has cooled. Enjoy! Yields 4 servings.
