Apple Pie Puffs

A quick delicious dessert to make this evening. A little taste of apple pie in a cup!



Ingredients
2 ready to bake 9-inch pie crusts
1 (21) oz can of apple pie filling
1/2 tsp of apple pie spice
2 Tbsp of packed brown sugar
the egg white of one egg



Directions
Preheat oven to 350° degrees.

Lightly grease a 6-cup cupcake pan and set aside.



Add the apple pie filling, apple pie spice, and the packed brown sugar and use a spoon to gently combine the ingredients together. Set aside.



Gently unroll the pie crust onto a floured sheet of wax paper or aluminum foil. Use a 3-inch width bowl to cut out six circles as shown.


 Place each pie crust cutout onto the prepared pan as shown.


Fill the cups the  2 - 3 apple slices.


Gently close the crusts by pinching the sides of the crusts together. Lightly brush the egg white onto the top of the crusts.


Cook for 30 - 35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.


Let cool and enjoy! Makes 6 servings.
